PLEASE ENSURE YOU HAVE PAID YOUR 2021 MEMBERSHIP
You must have paid your 2021 Membership to have access to the insurance coverage. Please go to the STORE in TeamApp to pay your Membership fee or speak to a member of the committee or coaching staff to make alternative payment arrangements.

Here is all the information you need to understand the physiotherapy services available from Balmain Physiotherapy and the insurance coverage offered to players. Level of coverage is dependent on whether you are Platinum or Masters member of the Club.
Balmain AFC Platinum Members are on a SILVER LEVEL of coverage.
Balmain AFC Masters Members are on a BRONZE LEVEL of coverage.

IMPORTANT POINTS TO REMEMBER
Personal Injury cover is a policy for injuries occurring due to an accident. It is not a sickness or illness policy. It can cover pay for Non-Medicare Medical Expenses. These include physio, chiro, dental, ambulance transport and private hospital accommodation. Personal Injury cover is not Private Health Insurance or Life Insurance. It is strongly recommended that all players investigate their personal insurance needs. Players should consider the benefits of Private health Insurance; Life Insurance; Loss of Income (particularly for self-employed players); Ambulance Subscription
For further details refer to the program summary document attached to this article and also available in the club documents section in TeamApp.

HOW WILL BALMAIN PHYSIOTHERAPY SERVICES WORK?
The Balmain Physiotherapists will assist you in making claims by completing the claim form attached to this article. It is also available in the Club Documents section in TeamApp.
Marsh insurance will cover any physio visits required for injuries incurred as a result of playing AFL whether it be at training or at a game. Unfortunately they wont cover any injuries you sustain outside of playing times. However, Balmain Physiotherapy will gladly offer you a Players discount if you see them for these injuries.
NOTE: Insurance cover will cease once the player resume to play on game day
